I was born and bred in Kalgoorlie, WA. I'm not indigenous. I love my country and the land I grew up on. I studied in Perth, I'm a veterinarian. I have lived overseas. Australia is my home.

Why do you think the Uluru Statement from the Heart is important?
Because it's simply the truth and just.

How could a Voice to Parliament improve the lives of your community?
Through Education and awareness.

Why do you think it's important to enshrine the Voice to Parliament in the Constitution, rather than include it only in legislation?
Again, it's simple justice.

Why is it important for Indigenous people to have a say in the matters that affect them?
Why shouldn't they, basic human rights in a democracy. If they were the majority there would be no question as to why.

First nations people have never been treated fairly and justly in this country. It's wrong, unfair and needs to be rectified.
