I support the proposal for First Nations Peoples to have a Voice.
Clearly they have not been heard and have been left on the edge of Australia's society. All groups in society need representation and because of their unique position as having occupied this land for so long there needs to be a special position legislated to allow for their concerns to be heard.
Speaking for oneself means taking one's own responsibility and gives it's own power.
It is far past the time that the Australian government had a "Voice" from the First Nations People.

 

 

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the Elders past, present and emerging.
