My name is (redacted) and I am a constituent from Cunningham. I am asking for more communication and collaboration with local Indigenous expertise in the management of our natural environment to increase biodiversity. This can be done by creating more roles for Indigenous people in charge of leading the process across environmental practice, policy and research in Australia.

Additionally, partnering with outside agencies such as Firesticks Alliance may increase the fire management knowledge. Firesticks Alliance also aims to invigorate cultural burning practices. This may be helpful to the healing of our nation as cultural burning may be beneficial for the Indigenous people's experience.

Thank you for the opportunity to make a submission .

Yours sincerely,

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the Elders past, present and emerging.
