In order for Australia to be a better country it needs to redress the devastating consequences to First Nation People of European colonisation and genocide; immigration and land grabbing; environmental destruction and cultural annihilation.
To help redress the above and heal our country we could do the following:-
1. Enshrine the First Nation Voice in the Australian Constitution. This will require a referendum.
2. Base the enabling legislation for a First Nation Voice on Constitutional change. This will require the enabling legislation to be enshrined after the referendum.
3. That the election of a member of parliament that represents First Nation Voice be carried out according to the wishes of First Nation people.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the Elders past, present and emerging.
