Submission regarding an Australian Voice

I fully and strongly support the Government adhering to its election commitment to hold a referendum,
to understand the publics opinion in relation to establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
Voice to parliament.

It would be of paramount importance for a Voice to parliament to be legislated, to ensure it has the
optimum opportunity for impact, resonance and success into the future.

All voices from across the Nation must be given equal opportunity to be heard, rather than only hearing
from the same vocal representatives each time. There should be commitment to exploring how best to
achieve this in a meaningful and culturally appropriate way.
