To whom it may concern
Submission for Co-design process
I am a 20 year old university student living in Brisbane.
Why do you think the Uluru Statement from the Heart is important?
I think it is important because votes should be appropriately distributed depending on who the consequences actually affect.
How could a Voice to Parliament improve the lives of your community?
I am satisfied with my situation however I believe that politicians should better represent certain minority groups and people that are underrepresented.
Why is it important for Indigenous people to have a say in the matters that affect them?
It is important that anyone has a say in what is going to affect them, so why should this be any different.
Why do you think it's important to enshrine the Voice to Parliament in the Constitution, rather than include it only in legislation?
Because it needs to be acknowledged everywhere.
Thank you
