Co-design process: Submission for Francis Le

I am Chinese, Australian and British. I have 2 children, and I work in education policy.

Why do you think the Uluru Statement from the Heart is important?
It is a clarion call to our nation, to do better

Why is it important for Indigenous people to have a say in the matters that affect them?
Agency, autonomy.

How could a Voice to Parliament improve the lives of your community?
We would be better people. It would be evidence of our empathy

Why do you think it's important to enshrine the Voice to Parliament in the Constitution, rather than include it only in legislation?
The constitution is flawed. In my heart I know we can do better.

Kind regards,
Francis Le
