The lack of an indigenous voice in our country is a disgrace and a loss to our country.
We have run this country into the ground ignoring all the knowledge that is out there amongst our First Nations People.
Our First Nations People are not treated with the respect they deserve.
When will the leaders of this country be brave enough to acknowledge all the injustice that has been done over the past 200+ years to the rightful owners of this land. It is time we all stand up and start to listen and learn.
The Uluru Statement from the Heart is an opportunity to embrace a new way forward for this nation to become a more inclusive and dynamic society and to care for this land appropriately.
