Koomemberri Country QLD

Dear Co-Design Body
I am a 33 year old white female and have lived in Koomemberri country my whole life.

The Uluru Statement from the Heart is important because it acknowledges Australia's true history.

The importance for Indigenous people to have a say in the matters that affect them are intrinsic to Australian society and has the impact of changing communities for the better.

A voice to Parliament will improve the lives of my community by valuing people and increasing funding in every aspect of their lives such as health and education.

It's important because it respects our culture and acknowledges it past, present and future custodians.
