Providing an enshrined voice within the constitution is critical in creating a cultural environment that values all nations equally and recognises the central position of first nation peoples within Australia. For there to be true empathetic understanding and healing it is essential there is structural reform to allow equal voice and value within the decisions made in our country, for our country and for all nations within our country. Change happens through learning, sharing, valuing and knowing but this can only happen if opportunity exist for the process to occur.
